On Wednesday, 10th of May, Operosa premiere of Pergolesi's opera "La Serva Padrona" was performed at the Student Cultural Center in Belgrade. On this occasion, Operosa celebrated European Opera Days and proudly presented the beginning of Young@opera, Creative Europe project, European Union program that supports Culture.
Young opera talents Aleksandra Stanković and Ivan Plazačić had the chance to perform as Serpina and Uberto for the first time in their singing careers along with actor Vladimir Tešović who performed as Vespone.
Set designer Ilija Višnjić successfully debuted as opera director which was followed by great applause at the end of the show. Operosa conductor Natalija Mićić was behind "La Serva Padrona" music and she made sure that the orchestra accompanied the singers seamlessly.
We are pleased that the opera aroused great interest, so both nights of the performance the venue was full.
The concert was attended by recognized experts in classical music, and recorded by Radio Television of Serbia and Radio Belgrade.
