Every year, worldwide opera houses are celebrating European Opera Days, to bring this art closer to the people.

Operosa has celebrated the European Opera Days already for four years, but this is the first time ever it has been done in #‎Montenegro. Theme of this year European Opera Days is "Theatres of the World".

Our idea was to showcase opera to the Montenegrin people through interactions with the public in the streets of Herceg Novi followed by the newly created play, by Operosa, “This is not an Opera”.

On the second day we performed the play “This is not an Opera” in Dvorana Park theater in Herceg Novi. This play presents opera and opera singers trough modern and humoristic perspective, focusing on the real opera situation in the Balkan region today.

The creator of this show is Vladimir Niciforovic, the singers are Jovana Čurović, Maja Mijatović, Milan Mladenov, Stevan Karanac, Katarina Radovanovic, Slavica Bozic. Tea Đorđević was repetiteur, and the special guest actor is Stevan Piale.
