Stage director

Vladan Djurkovic (1987) is Serbian theatre director. He studied on Faculty ofdramatics arts in Belgrade in class of famous theatre director Egon Savin. Currently he is onthird year of Doctoral studies in theatre and audio-visual arts (research interests: opera,operetta and musical). From 2011. he works at Youth Theatre DADOV as artistic director. Until today he had over 30 stage production. Selection: Oliver Twist (Ch. Shakespeare, National Theater of the Republicof Serbian), High seas (Branislav Nusic - National Theater, Sombor), Lover (Harold Pinter-Faculty of Dramatic Arts), Art (Yasmina Reza-Faculty of Dramatic Arts)… He works as opera assistant director in National Theatre in Belgrade and until now herevived Maddam Butterfly (G. Puccini/d:Dejan Miladinovic), he was assistent director on Laforza del destino (G. Verdi/d:Darijan Mihajlovic) and Norma (V. Bellini/d:Giancarlo delMonaco). The play "This was the scariest day of my life" won The award for best director andthe award for best performance at the festival, The International Festival of humor forchildren in Lazarevac 2016. and the play “And they lived happily ever after...” won Grandprix of the festival and Award for directing, DAF, Macedonia 2010.He also works as professor at School of acting and speech in Youth Theatre DADOV,he cooperated with Faculty of music art in Belgrade on Opera studio subject and he waslecturer on various seminars and workshops..
