Singer/Soprano

I was born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1989. In 2006 I was admitted to secondary music school
„Vatroslav Lisinski“ where I started solo singing study program with prof. Kristina Beck -
Kukavčić. Along with music studies I completed grammar school. From 2008 to 2012 I finished
Bachelor studies at the University of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb where I studied
Hungarian language and Culture studies and Croatian Phonetics and Retorics. From 2012 to
2015 I finished classical singing Bachelor studies at the Faculty of Music and Visual Arts at the
University of Pécs, Hungary. I also proceeded master opera singing studies there and finished
in May, 2017 playing the role of Romilda in Händel’s Serse. At the moment I am involved into
vocal coach master programme and my mentor is still a soprano Ilona Tokody. During my
previous studies, I worked on a few roles and performed in some student productions: Drusilla
– L’incoronazione di Poppea (2013) - C. Monteverdi, Countess, Marzelina and Barbarina – La
Nozze di Figaro - W. A. Mozart, Minerva - Orpheus in der Unterwelt (2015) - J. Offenbach,
Euridice - Orfeo ed Euridice (2015) – C. W. Gluck, Servilia - La Clemenza di Tito, Pamina, First
Lady – Die Zauberflöte, Micaela, Frasquita – Carmen – G. Bizet (2016), Rozsa – Dozsa György –
Erkel Ferenc (2016). In 2014. I also sang some parts of Dorabella role – Cosi fan tutte by W. A.
Mozart at the National Theatre in Pécs within the program “Opera for children”. I also perform
as chamber musician in duets, sacral music with orgue, trio soprano, piano and horn, trio
voice, flute and piano. I took part in a few singing competition in Croatia, Hungary, Serbia and
Montenegro where I achieved mostly second and third prizes. In 2015. I achieved one of the
1st prizes in opera category at the International competition Lav Mirski in Osijek, Croatia. I
was also the total winner - Laureat of the International competition Vera Kovač VitkaI in Novi
Sad, Serbia in 2015. In 2017. I was one of the finalists at the Pustina competiton in Czech
Republic. I am preparing to take part in opera workshop in Vienna (Otto Edelmann society) as
Nella in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi. I actively participated in several masterclasses in Croatia,
Serbia, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic. I worked with Tokody Ilona, Gabriela Benačkova,
Kincses Veronika, Varadi Marianna, Varadi Zita, Kristina Beck – Kukavčić, Larry Alan Smith,
Xavier Sabata, Scott McCoy, Predrag Gosta, Marijana Mijanović, Gabriele Lechner, Köench
Boldizsár, Gulyás Dénes.
