Sophie Horrocks is a young British-French mezzo soprano performing roles in productions across the UK. Roles include Dido Dido (King's Opera), Idamante Idomeneo (Aria Alba, Edinburgh Festival Fringe), Dorabella Cosi Fan Tutte(Opera Kipling and St Paul's Opera), Despina Cosi Fan Tutte (VoiceArc), Elvira Don Giovanni (St Paul's Opera - concert scenes), Siebel Faust (Brent Opera), Sally A Hand of Bridge (Grimeborn/Arcola Theatre), Flo The Sands of Time, a contemporary opera by Peter Reynolds (Grimeborn/Arcola Theatre), and Zerlina Don Giovanni (Cambridge University Opera Society), Grittly, Le 66 (Grimeborn/Arcola Theatre) Cupidon, Orphee aux Enfers (St Paul's Opera), Mad Margaret Ruddigore (St Alban's Chamber Opera),Melissa Princess Ida (Grosvenor Light Opera Society). Sophie studies singing with Stuart MacIntyre and graduated with degree in Music from the University of Cambridge and a Masters in research from King's College London.
