Irina Maltseva


Born in Russia, Moscow. Studied in Russian Gnessins Academy of Music in Moscow and Mozarteum University in Salzburg.
Since season 2016/2017 till current - a member of Opera Studio in Nürnberger Staatstheater.
For the seasons 2018/20 engaged as ensemble member of Nürnberger Staatstheater.

2013 - Prize in II International Sergey Rakhmaninov Competition (2013) (Rostov-on-Don, Russia)
2016 - Finalist of 4th Otto Edelmann International Singing Competition (Vienna, Austria)
2017 - Finalist of 29th Les Nuits Lyrique de Maramnde Singing Competition (Marmande, France)

While studies performed the roles of Olga („Eugene Onegin“ Tchaikovsky), Cherubino („Le nozze di Figaro“ Mozart) , Lucretia („The rape of Lucretia“ Britten)
and Ramiro („La finta giardiniera“ Mozart).

In 2015 became a prize winner of the international competition Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg (Germany) and took part in gala-concerts with Brandenburgischer Staatsorchester ( Conductor David Marlow) and opera production "La Traviata" (Verdi) in role of Annina at the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg Festival.
