Erminie Blondel, trained as a violist, studied at the Geneva Conservatory, graduated with a 1er Prix at the Rueil-Malmaison Conservatory, and holds a Masters Degree in Recital Arts from the Paris Sorbonne. She was a member of the Marseille CNIPAL Opera Studio in 2009-2010. She now prepares her operatic roles with internationally acclaimed coach Irene Kudela of the Paris Opera and is perfecting her technique with Cynthia Jacoby.
On stage, she has sung the major roles of her repertoire: Violetta in La Traviata in Torino in 2012, under F. Giacosa, La Voix Humaine and The Telephone, acclaimed by Opera Magazine, and Antonia in Les Contes d'Hoffmann in Italy under G. Condette, in 2014, Marguerite in Faust in 2013, Konstanze in The Abduction from the Seraglio and Massenet's Manon with Operaclassica in 2012, Maria in West Side Story, Pamina in The Magic Flute, and Micaela in Carmen at La Seine Musicale in 2017.
Future engagements include a tour of the Magic Flute with Opera Nomade and the Clermont-Ferrand Opera, and her debut at the Théâtre du Capitole in 2019.
