Viviana Rojas

Singer/Soprano

Viviana was born in Bogotá (Colombia). She started her musical and singing studies at the Central University of Bogotá, where she obtained the title of teacher in music. In the 2012-2013 academic year, she worked as teacher at the Central University of Bogotá and, in 2013, Los Andes University. Subsequently, she continued her studies at the Liceu Conservatory Superior of Music, under the tutelage of Eduard Giménez. Since 2014 is a student of the Reina Sofia School of Music in the
Cátedra de Canto "Alfredo Kraus" Ramón Foundation with Ryland Davies and Rosa Dominguez.
She has won the first prize as Young Talent of the French Alliance, in Bogotá, in 2011, and competitions such as the National Singing Competition of the Bogotá's Philharmonic, in the superior category, in 2012. She has been soloist with the Ópera de Colombia, at the Bellas Artes Theater in Bogotá, in the
zarzuela season of the Jaime Manzur Foundation, at the world premiere of the "Cantata América", composed by José Buenagu, and in the scenic cantata "Carmina Burana", by Orff. In 2017 he sang under the baton of Plácido Domingo at a gala at the Teatro Real de Madrid. Actually, she continues her master studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music.
