Emilija Minic

Singer/Soprano

Emilija Minic was born in 1991 in Cetinje (Montenegro). She started her musical education at the high school of music ''Vida Matjan''in Kotor (Montenegro). She was in class of Mirela Scasni. Emilija graduated at Academy of Art in Novi Sad (Serbia ) in class of Milica Stojadinovic.
She is the winner of many competitions :
- First prize at International singing competition "Lazar Jovanovic" in Belgrade (Serbia) in 2008. and 2009.
- Second prize at International singing competition "Bruna Spiler" (Montenegro) in 2009.
- First prize at Music festival of Montenegro in 2009.
- Second prize at International singing competition "Bruna Spiler" (Montenegro) 2013.
- First prize at International singing competition ''Nikola Cvejic" (Serbia) in 2012.
- First prize at International singing competition "Lav Mirski" Osijek (Croatia) in 2013.
She has participated in masterclasses and had worked with Marija Muratovska Naumovska (Republic of Macedonia), Tatjana Sorlujan (Russia), Hun Lee (South Corea )
She has sung at concerts in Viena and Ljubljana. Her first solo concert was in 2008. The concert in Podgorica (Montenegro) in 2013 stands out. In 2009-2010 and 2012-2013 she was awarded "Melanija Bugarinovic i cerka Mirjana Kalinovic Kalin'' scholarship, a fund for vocal technique improvement. In 2011 at Espressivo Festival Emilija performed at the premiere of "Dva Sunca" three-movement piece for a soprano and 11 instruments composed by Nina Perovic.
She is the soloist of the choir "Sveti Jevstatije Prevlacki" from Budva (Montenegro) and choir " Sveti Roman Slatkopojac" from Novi Sad (Serbia)
Opera role : Lauretta ( ''Gianni Schichi '' -Puccini)
Solo concerts : 2013 Novi Sad, Charity concert in Tivat (Montenegro) March 2014, Concert on Festival "Budva Grad Teatar" July 2014.

She's currently studies at the Conservatory "G. Verdi" in Milan, Italy .
