The Operosa Forum is dedicated to promoting dynamic classical music and opera talent



Mexican mezzosoprano winner of the First Place in the National Singing Competition of the San Miguel Opera, Award Merit of the Arts by ASPEVAZA, as well as winner of the Public Prize in the 11th Festival d’Art Vocal (Montrèal).

This young artist has collaborated with musicians of international stature, has performed with different orchestras and ensembles in important venues in and outside of Mexico (United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Japan, Guatemala, Colombia, United States and Canada). Zayra has performed in more than 30 operatic productions, highlighting her recent debuts (2017) in Berlin, Germany with the Berlin Opera Academy in the operas Suor Angelica/Gianni Schicchi and in London, United Kingdom in the opera Carmen in the lead roll; as well as in the Mexico's largest Opera House, the Palacio de Bellas Artes in 2014.

She was a fellow of the prestigious Sociedad Internacional de Valores de Arte Mexicano (SIVAM), she was part of Solistas Ensamble of the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA México) and the vocal sextet Tuumben Paax, the latter, winner of First Place and "The Golden David" in Italy, as well as first place and Gold Medal in Japan.
