Clementine Bourgoin is a french singer who live in Paris. She started by studying the cello and then turned to classical singing at the Grenoble Conservatory in the class of Cécile Fournier. She obtained a Musical studies degree as well as a masters in musicology. She then went to Paris to continue studying.
She attended Joëlle Vautier’s theatre course, obtaining unanimously the 1st jury prize. She also studied Melody and Lied in Françoise Tillards class and went to the Poulenc Academy to study with François Leroux and Jeff Cohen.
Clementine was on stage at the age of 19 in the role of Annina in the Verdi’s Traviata, in the Drôme-Opéra Festival. She sang The Fairy Queen directed by Laurent Pelly in partnership with Les Musiciens du Louvre, who then hired her for the role of la Folie in Rameau’s Platée.
After having played Aglaé in Hervé’s Le Petit Faust by Les Frivolités Parisiennes she joined the Compagnie Les Brigands with their Chevaliers de la Table Ronde, directed by Pierre- André Weitz, touring in Bordeaux, Nantes-Angers, Rennes and Limoges Opera Houses as well as at La Fenice in Venice.
She played in Et tâchons d’épuiser la mort dans un baiser, a show staged by Marc Lainé around Debussy for the Aix-en-Provence Festival.
This 2017-2018 season, she played Mam’zelle Nitouche in Toulon and Nantes Opera Houses and Les Chevaliers de la Table ronde in Caen.
