Singer/Tenor

Serbian tenor and pianist Stefan Djokovic began his
musical education at the age of seven. His vocal tuition
commenced at Mokranjac Music School in Belgrade during
which time he won many international vocal competitions
including Bruna Spiller, State Competition, Nikola Cvejic, Lazar
Jovanovic and the Amadeus Festival.
 In 2014 he was awarded a scholarship to study voice at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and is currently a recipient of the Christine Stone Scholarship to study Masters of Music in voice at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
 Participated in numerous Masterclasses with many operatic vocal visionaries including Christa Ludwig, Natalie Dessay, Ruth Falcon, Mignon Dunn, Joan Dorneman, Jaume Aragall, Peter Dvorsky, Olga Makarina Antonio Carangelo, Sylvia Greenberg, Jurgen Hartifiel, Djorde Nesic, Snezana Brzakovic, Eteri Lamoris, Natela Nicoli, David Westfall.
 In 2017 he was awarded a scholarship to attend IVAI in New York and is recipient of Serbian government “Dositeja” Scholarship Award for studies excellence.
 He has worked as a language coach for the Jette Parker program on production of Ana Sokolovic’s Svadba at the Aixen-Provence Festival.
 Stefan’s performing and broadcast career to date includes working with the Mokranjac Orchestra, Antonin Dvorak Orchestra, Belgrade National Television and Radio Orchestra, recording for France National Television and Russian Orpheus, Carslbad Radio, Belgrade Radio. He he performed in an Opera Gala Concert with Peter Dvorsky and Orchestra Banska Bistrica as well as his Carnegie Hall debut in 2016 where he sang as an award winner of “American Protégé” competition.
 Perfromance venues across the world including Great Hall of St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Elena Obraztsova Culture Centre, and most of the major venues in Austria (Opera Graz), Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, UK, France, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and his native Serbia.
 BA in piano performance from Belgrade University of Arts after which he continued his piano studies with Prof. Peter Bithell at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. In 2017 he completed his MA in Piano at Belgrade Music Academy where he is currently a PhD candidate.
 Stefan has also received many awards as a pianist at both national and international competitions. He currently performs as a vocalist, solo pianist including many piano recitals and chamber music performances as well as repetiteur work with singers
 His Current repertoire and in preparation includes Male Chorus in Rape of Lucretia, Alfredo in La Traviata, Pollione in Norma, Lensky in Eugene Onegin, Hermann in Queen of Spades, Bajazet in Tamerlano, Max in Der Freischütz, Bruckner`s Te Deum as well as song repertoire in Schumann`s Liederkeris op 39, Schubert`s Winterreise and various art songs in English, French, German, Russian, Spanish, Czech and Serbian
Future performances include Side by Side project with Welsh National Opera performing Lensky in scenes from Eugene Onegin and Opera Gala Evening with celebrated mezzo soprano Jadranka Jovanovic and Nis Symphony Orchestra.
