Born in Naples from a family of musicians began very young the studies of music and violin and subsequently with Masters as Giorgio Favaretto, Giulietta Simionato, Gianni Raimondi & Alfredo Kraus.

At the same time he manifested a natural predisposition for Orchestral conducting, studying with the Great Giuseppe Patanè and Franco Ferrara.

His career takes place in many theaters of the world, such as Frankfurter Alte Oper, Dresdner Pholharmone, Berliner Philharmonie, Festival dei 2 Mondi di Spoleto and other theaters and concert halls.

Its repertoire focused initially on Schubert, Brahms, Donizetti, Verdi was then extended to authors such as Puccini, Mascagni, Leoncavallo, etc... interpreting the roles of Cavaradossi ( Tosca ), Turiddu ( Cavalleria Rusticana ), Canio ( Pagliacci ) etc ...

After a long career of concerts and performances, recently he took over the Orchestra Direction performing works such as Aida, Nabucco, Tosca, etc... and signing in some cases also the Stage Direction.

For many years he dedicated himself to singing receiving unanimous support in many nations that have hosted its Masterclasses ( Piacenza, Tokyo, Berlin, Manila, Seoul, Dublin, etc... ).

He lives in Veneto, where he helds workshops for singing students from Japan, Korea, Brazil, Australia, etc... and he is, of course, English, French, German, Japanese speaking.

From 2009 he starts the collaboration with the soprano Sara Pretegiani under the name of "Sara & Gio" in a long tournèe of Opera Recitals during the Main European Festivals having everywhere great successes and standing ovations.

From this moment they are singing always together presenting a large repertoire of Operatic Arias, duets and international songs and offering to many different publics the opportunity to listen the original italian opera voices.

Actually they are invited for the main events at the principal Concert Halls, Congress Centers, Open Air Arenas and by International Cruises Companies.
