Claudia is a very young Romanian lyric-spinto soprano. She started studying music at an early age with a great Romanian Maestra, the coloratura soprano Elena Botez. Due to the intensive preparation, at the age of only 18, Claudia won the First Absolute Prize at the National Olympiad of Music, which confirmed her amazing talent and technical achievements. She attended the National University of Music in Bucharest, taking her Bachelor's Degree with very high scores. The University years gave her the opportunity to perform in several opera productions: “Le Nozze di Figaro”, “La Clemenza di Tito”(Mozart), “Evgheni Oneghin”(Tchaikovsky), “Il matrimonio segretto”(Cimarosa), “O noapte furtunoasa”(P. Constantinescu), “Ultimele zile, ultimele ore...”(A. Vieru).

In 2008 she made her professional operatic debut in Miquel Ortega's Absolute World Premiere of “La Casa de Bernarda Alba”, conducted by the Maestro himself.

With an interest in both operatic and chamber music repertoire, in 2010 and 2011 Claudia performed in a series of Sacred Music Concerts through Sicily – Italy.

In 2012 she was the protagonist of a musical performance at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Chisinau, Republic of Moldavia. The same year she had her first concert in Berlin, at Studio Niculescu, with a selection of opera arias and ensembles.

In 2014 she made her debut at the National Opera House – Bucharest, in the new production of “Rigoletto”, directed by Stephen Barlow.

Besides her intense professional activity, she continues her artistic development guided by great artists and professors worldwide. In 2013 she attended “Alto Perfezionamento Lirico” master course in Italy, held by the famous Daniela Dessi, Cristian Ricci and Antonio Petris (director). The same year, she attended master classes with the famous Romanian soprano Mariana Nicolesco.

In 2014 Claudia gained a full scholarship and participated in the International Opera Course “OperOderSpree” in Germany, having several opera and German lied performances under the guidance of Professors Peter Maus and Nene Brzakovic and the direction of Lars Franke.

Claudia is currently studying under the guidance of the conductor Simone Marziali in Florence, Italy.
