Ana Bunjak

Ana Bunjak was born in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1992. She is currently employed as an opera stage director at Torre de Viento Producciones, Mexico City.

She studied opera stage directing at the Verona Accademia per l'opera. Her professional training includes internships in the directing departments of the Teatro alla Scala di Milano and Arena di Verona, as well as collaboration on the productions of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma and Teatro Massimo di Palermo (Quartett, A.Ollé [La Fura dels Baus]; Tosca, H. De Ana; La Traviata, F. Zeffirelli; Aida, G. De Bosio, La Traviata, L. Mariani; My Fair Lady, P. Curran).

She obtained a master's degree in Theatre studies and a bachelor degree in Sound Design at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, prior to which she studied classical piano and music pedagogy at Music School Stankovic, Belgrade, for ten years.

Since 2013 she has been working as a composer and sound designer for drama theatre, dance and multimedia (Serbian National Theatre, Atelje 212, Cultural Center Vuk Karadzic, Center for cultural decontamination, Belgrade Drama Theatre, Masterskaya St. Petersburg, Academic Drama Theatre of Brest ecc.).

Fluent in English and Italian.
