My name is Bartosz Jankowski. I was born in 1994 in Wroclaw (Poland). When I was 4 years old I started to play piano and after a year I started my musical studies in piano class at Primary school of Music in Wroclaw. When I was 9 years old I performed in a state Musical Theater Capitol for a 5 years in such shows as „Fiddler on the roof”, „Scat- the musical” and „ The Snow Queen Musical”. I was in Theatrical Class in High School- we had plenty performences around Poland. In 2014 I attended Musical Studio near Music Theater in Gdynia learning the craft of musical acting. After a year I enrolled in Stanislaw Moniuszko’s Academy of Music in Gdansk in Prof. Piotr Kusiewicz’s class. During the studies I performed as a Sailor in „Dido et Aeneas” by Henry Purcell, King Oebalus in „Apollo et Hyacinthus” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Graf Stanislao in „Der Vogelhandler” by Carl Zeller. In may 2020 I was supposed to debut in the role of Tito in „La clemenza di Tito” in Academy of Music in Gdansk and in June I was supposed to have a performance as a Tito in Warsaw Chamber Opera, but because of pandemic situation it was canceled. I was also performing Don Ottavio in „Don Giovanni” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart during Vienna Opera Academy in 2020.
This year i will be singing role of Bastien in „Bastien und Bastienne” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
I had the honour to work with Eytan Pessen, Mathias Rexroth, Robert Nakoneczny, Vladimir Chernov and Jesus Leon on my voice. In my repertoire I have many arias of Rossini, Mozart, Haendel, Bach, Beethoven.
