Tiago Pinto was born in 2000 in Porto, began his musical studies in his hometown. Studied at Academia D’artes de Cinfães having completed the course of wind and percussion instrumentist in the class of teacher Herminio Fonseca.
He continued his studies at Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo “ESMAE” in the class of the teacher David Silva where he currently remains.
He had the opurtunity to work with teachers and soloist as Ian Bousfield, Nathan Zgonc, Bill Thomas, Ricardo Molla Albero, Filipe Alves, João Martinho, José Angel Isla, Vitor Faria, Jarret Butler, David Rejano, Juan Sanjuan, Jaume Gavilan, Karol Gajda, Sérgio Carolino, David Taylor, Floyd Cooley, David Silva and Massimo La Rosa.
He collaborated with several orchestras such as Atlantic Coast Orchestra, Jazz Porto Orchestra, Sine-Nomine Orchestra and Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra.
At 2020 he won the position of “reserve” at Orchestra Filarmonia das Beiras”.
He is a founding member of the “Bones, Slides and Pistons”, with Sérgio Carolino
He is currently a bachelor degree student at ESMAE and has passed to the final round of the European Union Youth Orchestra “EUYO”.
