Anna Viola

The Operosa Forum is dedicated to promoting dynamic classical music and opera talent

My name is Anna Viola and I am an Italian Soprano.
I graduated in Organ and Organ Composition in Udine, Italy, and I have been studying lyrical singing since the year 2000 with the Italian soprano Cecilia Fusco.
I am currently improving my repertoire with Stefano Gibellato, who used to be the accompanist in Teatro La Fenice, in Venice.
I often perform in belcanto and chamber repertoire and I have had the opportunity to debut several operatic roles (such as Violetta in “La Traviata”, Amore in Gluck’s “Orfeo ed Euridice”, Rosina in “Il barbiere di Siviglia”, Lisa in Bellini’s “La sonnambula”, Pamina and Königin der Nacht in “Die Zauberlflöte” , Donna Anna in Mozart's "Don Giovanni", Lucia in "Lucia di Lammermoor" ecc.) in some important Italian Theaters and lyrical Foundations (among these: Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Teatro Marrucino in Chieti, Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza and Teatro La Fenice in Venice).
Having completed my Master’s Degree in European Studies following a Bachelor’s in Public Relations, I would like to gain experience of living and working abroad and have the chance to perform as an opera singer abroad.
