Stefan Hadžić was born in 1989 in Belgrade (Serbia). From an early age he was interested in music, studied piano and finished his studies in 2011 at the Faculty of music, Belgrade. He began his singing education in his hometown in 2005, winning numerous awards and recognitions, some of them being laureate at the IV international singing competition in Herceg Novi, Montenegro and laureate at the IV international singing cometition in Aranđelovac, Serbia.
In 2012 he moved to Vienna to study at the University of music and performance arts in the class of Prof. Claudia Visca. Since then he won the prestigious 43rd international competition "Jeunesses Musicales" in Belgrade in March of 2013 and the first prize and "Osaka Governor" prize at the 14th international music competition in Osaka, Japan. In 2013 he was awarded the Gran Prix of the International Opera Course „Oper Oder Spree“ in Beeskow, Germany. He was invited in 2013 and 2014 to take part in “Nancy Opéra Passion” masterclass in Nancy, France with Ruggiero Raimondi and Ludovic Tézier respectively. In the 2014 isaOperaVienna production of Mozart's "Le nozze di Figaro", the young singer made his operatic debut, singing the role of the Count. With great success he also sang the role of Gianni Schicchi in March of 2015 at the Schlosstheater in Schönbrunn. In the same theater in March 2016 he appeared as Falstaff in Verdi’s opera of the same name.
