Montenegro Opera Festival 2016 – Opera in the street?
Graduated from the Conservatory "Giuseppe Verdi" in Turin under the guidance of Professor Arturo Danesin, he has increased knowledge of performance practice of the '700 Music, studying in parallel with the transverse flute with Barthold Kuijken and Pierre Sechet.
It continued the study of the modern instrument with Peter Lucas Graf at the Superior International Academy of Music "Lorenzo Perosi" of Biella, achieving a specialization degree in 1988. He has participated in master classes with Aurele Nicolet, Maxence Larrieu and Jean-Pierre Rampal.
Awarded in national and international competitions, he has collaborated, among others, with Nigel Rogers, Fabio Biondi, Enrico Parizzi, Gaetano Nasillo, Jason Paras, Danilo Costantini, Gianluca Cagnani, Federico Longhi, Oscar Alessi, Bruno Praticò, Silvio Bresso, Giuseppe Zambon, Francesca Scaini, Angelica Cathariou e Giacomo Fuga.
He played in several Italian, French and German orchestras, playing under the direction of Marcello Rota, Janos Acs, Mario Lamberto, Raffaele Napoli, Mario Braggio, Tonino Battista, Nigel Rogers, Herberth Hant, Marco Guidarini, Alberto Peyretti, Andrea Molino, Alicia Terzian, Aldo Brizzi, Enzo Ferraris, Emanuel Siffert and others. Carried tounèes in France, Germany, Switzerland, India, as well as in Italy.
It recorded a cycle of 20 broadcasts on musical instruments for RAI Italian Television, as well as having made numerous music recordings for RAI Italian Television and the Radio of Italian Switzerland.
He has designed and coordinated the creation of a CD of original music Chapter of Aosta Cathedral for the Label Stradivarius .
It recorded the Concert for Lovers CD (with flute, guitar and harp) and Concert for Flute (for solo flute) for the Label VideoRadio.
Since 1981 he is Professor of Flute and Chamber Music at the High Conservatoire of Music of Valle d'Aosta.
