I am a peruvian Bass Baritone who lives in Tampa, Florida, U.S.A. I started my education at age 17 in the National Conservatory of Music in Peru. In 2009 I was selected to go on tour with the World Youth Choir around different cities in Europe, being this the most enriching experience in my carrer. I worked 5 years for the National Choir of Peru , in many Opera productions. My first role was ¨Elviro¨ in Xerses by Haendel in the Opera Class at The Conservatory. In 2010 I moved to California to study Music (Voice)at Mt San Antonio College. In College I participated in several Opera Scene classes, doing scenes from Rigoletto, Don Giovanni, Elixir d´amor, Faust amog others. While living in California, I started to get more stage experience with Local Opera Companies. My first role in the U.S was Masetto in Don Giovanni, with Repertory Opera Company of Pomona, with them I played other roles like Ferrando in Il Trovatore, Dr Grenvil in La Traviata, Don Alfonso in Cosi Fan Tutte, and Angelotti in Tosca. in 2014 in went to Italy to play the role of Count Almaviva with The Assisi Festival. After that I moved to Florida, where I started taking private lessons with Tenor Giorgio Aristo, after a year working on technical aspects of my voice, in 2015 I participated in the Opera Idol competition, which took place in the city of St Petersburg , Florida, Organized by St Pete Opera, where I was one of the finalist of this competition.In April of 2016 I got the opportunity to work with Opera Tampa in the production of Don Giovanni , being part of the chorus, and as well as the cover of Masetto, where I had the pleasure to have the famous Baritone , Carlos Alvarez, in the leading role. In August , of the same year, I was accepted to participated in The Voice Experience Festival in Savannah, Georgia, organized by the legendary Baritone Sherrill Milnes. In the festival I played the role of Sarastro in The Magic Flute. In April,2017, I will be playing the role of The Jailor in Tosca with Opera Tampa, under the baton of Maestro Daniel Lipton.
